Not Just Another Music Shop has received much publicity throughout its lifetime. In 1991 it was voted "One of the 10 Best Music Stores" by Details Magazine. In 1997 Canadian Music Trade Magazine did a feature on the store, while the Province simultaneously did a full page article in the Entertainment Section.
